That’s not my thoughts at all (particularly for Pinot Noir) and why I decided to call this range ‘Testify’. It’s my hand on heart best effort from each vintage. And for Pinot Noir I wanted to create a more elegant and pure wine, which not necessarily a ‘bigger’ wine. This is more precise, selective and really the best Pinot Noir I can produce at the time I made it.

The 2017 Petite Sirah berries were very small and slightly dehydrated resulting in an impressive wine with very dark, opaque color, beautiful nose of concentrated blue berries and blackberries that leads to a full body mouth feel with engagingly soft tannins. After short aeration the nose opens up with the addition of cocoa, slight earthiness followed by brown sugar and a touch of vanilla-contribution of the new oak barrels. Overall the aromas are of fresh dark fruit and very attractive. Longevity, if stored properly, is one of the virtues of this variety and it will give you the most enjoyment in 5-8 years.

The aromas of boysenberry compote with dark roasted coffee and a hint of vanilla would be equally at home alongside grilled ribs or a flourless chocolate cake. On the nose, it has a beautiful aromatic complexity, ripe fruit and spicy aromas, with hints of roasted apples, apple compote and peaches. On the palate, there is a subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity. The bubbles are like velvet. Flavors of pear, brioche and spicy aromas, notes of fresh walnut.

A balanced blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, this dry, elegant sparkler has aromas of bread crust and mature white stone fruit. The vibrant, linear palate reveals ripe golden apple, pomegranate and a hint of saline alongside small, continuous bubbles. It closes on a hazelnut note.
